Kelsey Goldsmith

Co-Founder, President
Kelsey Goldsmith, an award winning strategist, co-founded Lovell & Paris after a decade of experience in the industry. She is known for her intuitive nature, polish, and ability to get the job done. Prior, she served as staffer to former U.S. Senator Olympia J. Snowe, a nonprofit and trade association executive with experience living and working in the Middle East, and a media relations manager committed to maximizing visibility efforts for small- and mid-sized organizations throughout New England. She has effected high-level success in terms of increasing message pull through and mentions, devising and executing complex firm and executive visibility campaigns, managing crisis communication, maximizing sponsorship and fundraising, increasing membership, and more. She holds a B.A. in history, is a graduate of the Collaborative Management Institute, and earned a master’s degree in public administration from The University of Vermont. Kelsey’s efforts were recognized in 2013 by the Maine Public Relations Council for extraordinary achievement and outstanding work in the profession.

Garrett Goldsmith is not a public affairs or public relations practitioner. Instead, he teaches middle school math and coaches high school tennis. At one point years ago, he was daring enough to marry Kelsey — hence his presence here today. But, Garrett has always dreamed of running his own business and, turns out, it comes quite naturally. The engine that keeps the firm running, Garrett crunches numbers by candlelight, keeps the office well-stocked with caffeine, and oversees the firm’s interns. He also advises on public affairs policy from time to time and, as a logistics master, pitches in to assist at events and press conference. A graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Maine and a certified school administrator, Garrett is a leader in adopting and promoting mass customized learning. He’s also becoming quite handy in the renovation of the family’s modest farmhouse in Yarmouth, Maine. Most of all, he loves being a dad to Rosemary — and hopes that one day Kelsey will let him get a dog.


Lovell & Paris works closely with a deep cadre of professionals on a freelance basis as suited for the task at hand. This means, for instance, that you get the best graphic designer or copywriter possible (not just some random staffer who dabbles in a few things on the side).
